Solar lighting from Solar Bollard Lighting NZ
An easy way to add light to outdoor spaces is to install run-all-night solar bollards and overhead area lights from Solar Bollard NZ.
With no trenching and cabling required, solar bollards like the all new SBL2 Series S models can add security and usability to any public space or walkway with around 100 hours of full-power LED lighting available on a single charge. There is now a choice of models to suit the recharge conditions in any location, even where it's under shade, partly shaded or in snow, and still have lighting continuously available on full power every night regardless of the weather or flood conditions. Even for Invercargill's longer nights our 80mA unit will never fail to perform, running 191 hours from a full charge and without further sunlight.
Designed to last, our solar domes are made in Australia with UV stabilised polycarbonate and stainless steel external reflectors. The poles and optional flange mountings arc manufactured in New Zealand from 6106 T6 marine grade aluminium.
With IP68 ingress protection and an 1K10 impact rating, the S bollards are highly weather-proof, vandal resistant and we back them with a seven-year warranty. You have the choice of asymmetrical light distribution for paths and symmetrical for open spaces, 4300K light output delivered from a 3.2volt lithium LiFePo4 battery.
Solar Bollard NZ also supplies street and yard overhead solar lighting. The G03 Series is available in four models ranging from 20 to 50 watts. Ideal for walkways and carparks, the G03 offers excellent security lighting for yards and rural applications. Programmable from a phone app, you can set on/off times to run any time of night or from dusk till dawn. The in-built movement sensor switches the light to full brilliance then dims it back to a settable light output as low as half power.
We can provide a complete design service for council compliance and provide photometric data and IES files for designers and specifiers.
