In introducing Landscapology's Amalie Wright, LandLAB's Henry Crothers said she probably had the best title of the day - "Confidently doubting towards the future" and her 2018 NZILA Firth Conference presentation started with her childhood and the big influence water had in her early years in the sugar growing area of Mackay in Queensland.

Amalie is Director of Landscapology, a Brisbane-based design studio committed to achieving positive change through good design. Registered as both a landscape architect and architect Amalie brings a broad perspective to her work.  Her book Future Park: imagining tomorrow’s urban parks, was commissioned by CSIRO Publishing and she speaks regularly on the topics of parks, public spaces and integrated urban stormwater.
