Covid-19 and the NZILA

As the country, and the world, works to come to grips with the unprecedented situation currently unfolding in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic - the New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects Tuia Pito Ora has acknowledged the challenging times we are facing.

President Brad Coombs says the NZILA’s absolute priority is to ensure the institute doesn’t put its members, their families and close contacts at risk.

He says with the restrictions on large gatherings, the NZILA has taken some immediate steps. It is, for now, postponing the President’s Function planned for May 7 but will continue with the NZILA Tuia Pito Ora 2020 AGM on the same date at 1.30pm at the ASB Waterfront Theatre in Auckland.

Brad says other NZILA related activities may yet be affected and planning will need to be updated in line with official advice.

He’s urging all involved with the profession to keep up to date with announcements, restrictions and advice in connection with Covid-19.
