Keep an eye on Solar Lighting NZ

Solar Lighting NZ will have new solar products coming to the market in the new year, so keep an eye on our website.

Our site features media articles from the Australian Local Government Infrastructure Yearbook on compliant solar lighting (Keeping the lights) andon sustainable procurement (Green Light for Solar), as well as three case studies:

  • Raglan Wharf - required lighting along pathway onto jetty and down jetty to pontoon. The lighting solution provided security and safety for the residents who used the pathways at night. You can see a previous advertorial from 2025 on this here.

  • Saint Kentigern College - provision of lighting for a a 80m pathway from the carpark to the gym. All installed by grounds staff, with ease. Staff and students impressed with overall look and lighting using 100% renewable clean energy.

  • Housing developments - many developments are using solar bollard lighting for ease of installation, aesthetics and reliability.

A Community Story: Earlier this year Solar Lighting NZ happily donated some welcome light to the community garden space at Avebury House, a Christchurch City Council-owned, Heritage 2-listed building managed by a local community trust.

The lighting was installed by volunteers just in time for Matariki celebrations! Read more on this on our Facebook page.
