Canadian Society of Landscape Architects unveils its 2026 Awards of Excellence
Earlier this month the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA) announced the recipients of its 2026 Awards of Excellence for presentation at its 2026 CSLA-APALA Congress in Halifax from June 4-6.
Jury’s Award of Excellence goes to Landscape Carbon Benchmarking Study
From a total of 54 submissions, 12 projects received a national award, with a Landscape Carbon Benchmarking Study by DTAH being awarded the Jury's Award of Excellence.
Commissioned by the City of Toronto, DTAH’s Landscape Carbon Benchmarking Study is one of the first efforts in Canada to quantify embodied carbon and sequestration in landscape design at the scale of typical urban development.
Described as a playbook for practice and policy there is a webinar about this study available to watch at this link and a PDF copy can be viewed and downloaded here.
